Welcome

We have a new name, a new logo and a new motto... The RCMP Civilian Search Dog Association is now officially called the Canadian Search Dog Association.

The motto displayed in our crest is "Fide Canem" which is latin for simply,"Trust the Dog". It is a fundamental rule in canine search and rescue and usually the very first thing a new handler learns!

Our new crest design represents the respect we feel for our canine partners and the pride we feel in being Canadian and serving our communities. The base on which the dog stands strong, symbolizes those individuals that worked to make this association the respected organization it is. Built on a foundation of professionalism, integrity and honor, their efforts carry us into the future.
